Theda E. Armstrong, 96, of Wilmette passed away in her home on October 15, taught in the Chicago public school system for 50 years and continued tutoring in her home 20 yrs after retiring; beloved wife of the late Steven; loving mother of Barbara (Rev. Clyde) Dodder; proud grandmother of Laurie (Larry) Ballantini and Matthew Dodder; dear great grandmother of Rachel, Stephanie and Heather and great-great grandmother of Stacie; fond sister of the late Frances (Ayres) Boal; memorial service 1 p.m. Friday at Winnetka Congregational Church 725 Pine St. Winnetka IL. 60093. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Winnetka Congregational Church to benefit childrens activities.
