A brief word of commendation for your Oct. 11 editorial on the situation in Israel and the occupied territories. It is all too rare that an American media outlet takes the time and makes the effort to portray this situation in a balanced way, taking into account decades of oppression of Palestinians and the violation of countless UN resolutions by Israel. I commend you for your balance and fairness and hope to see even more of it in the future.
