Constance “Connie” Robinson, 79, died Friday, Sept. 1, in Evansville, IN, at the home of her son, of lung cancer. Born and raised in LaGrange, IL, she attended Knox College in Galesburg, IL. She also served in the Womens Army Auxiliary Corps (WAACS) in WWII. She lived in Westmont. Connie is survived by her son, John Puffer; her granddaughters Julie Puffer and Kari Droba; her sister Joan Streeter (John) Burr; her niece Phyllis A. Orr and nephews William B. Burr and Christopher T. Burr. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Nativity (Episcopal) in Clarendon Hills, IL, located on the NE corner of 55th St. and Richmond Ave.
