Grace Glicken, age 87, beloved mother of Dan (Kathleen) and Naomi; wife of the late Maurice Glicken; loving sister to the late Patrick Israel, Irene Phillips and Ruth Friedman; beloved aunt to her nephews and nieces. She was a dedicated and honored member of the League of Women Voters, a prolific volunteer braillist, writer of poetry and lover of literature. She will always be remembered for her gentle loving kindness, friendship, humor and grace. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Little BrothersFriends of the Elderly, P.O. Box 2956, Des Plaines, IL 60017 or the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Funeral Friday, 10:30 a.m. at KAM Temple, 1100 E. Hyde Park Blvd (51st St. & Greenwood, enter through side door on parking lot).
