Ann M. Carlson, nee Hookham, age 75, of Downers Grove, IL, beloved wife of the late Fred W. Carlson (1958); loving mother of Coral A. Carlson and Ruth E. Carlson; cherished grandmother of Elisabeth Ann Carlson Wearne and Catherine Rose Carlson Wearne; dear sister of Edith (George Calvin) Potts, Fred (Louise) Hookham and Ruth McCann. Ann was a graduate of Northern Illinois University Class of 1962. Retired librarian from Byron Jr. High School in 1991 after 25 years. Past president of the American Federation of Teachers Union. Visitation will be Friday Oct. 20, 2000, 4 to 9 p.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main Street, Downers Grove.
