Ann W. Garnett, 49, of Glenview, formerly of Glencoe, died Sunday, Oct. 15 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, loving daughter of James and Catherine Garnett; beloved sister of Catherine C. Garnett and Dr. John E. (Elza) Garnett. She is also survived by three nieces, Margaret, Alice and Suzan Garnett. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at Glencoe Union Church, 263 Park Avenue, Glencoe. Family and friends will gather at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Elm Place School, Attn. Ann Garnett Memorial Garden, 2031 Sheridan Rd., Highland Park, IL 60035 honoring her courage and devotion to students and the difference she made in their lives.
