Berenice J. Safranek, age 89, beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Minnie, nee Meyers, Safranek; dear sister of the late Alice Longway, Mildred Brin and Earl F. Safranek; loving aunt of Phyllis (Thomas) Roozen and Earl (Kimberly) Safranek; dear great-aunt of David (Gena) Roozen, Amy (Russel) Norris, Eric Safranek, Samantha (Peter) Peterson and Brittnay Safranek; fond great-great-aunt of Hailee Norris. She was a bookkeeper at Crawford Sausage Company in Chicago for 55 years. Committal Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 7600 W.
