Rt. Rev. Valentine Skluzacek, O.S.B., seventh abbot of St. Procopius Abbey, died at Edward Hospital, Naperville, on Monday, Oct. 16, 2000. The Vigil Service will be held at the Abbey on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, Oct. 23 at 3:30 p.m., with interment at the Abbey Cemetery.
