Leo C. Ziemba, age 78, of Lansing, IL, formerly of West Pullman, beloved husband of Emily “Nell”; loving father of Cathy Chisausky, Sue (Mike) Targosz, Bob (Marirose) and Nancy (Tom) Sullivan; devoted grandfather of Jackie, Eric, Chris, Greg, Lindsey, Robbie, Joey and Kyle and greatgrandfather of Nicky; fond brother of Julia (Chuck) Pacanowski, Catherine (late Bill) Dienes, Ceil (Frank) Dabrowski and the late John, Walter (late Mary Jean), Ted and Bruno; dear brother-in-law of Stella and Rose Ziemba; also many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Mr. Ziemba was a WWII Army Vet., retired electrician for International Harvester after 43 years, P.L.A.V. Post #24, Lansing Golden K, P.N.A.,lifetime member of Chicago south end VFW Post 5412 and a member of Lansing K. of C. Council #3540, who will conduct a Wake Service Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. Leo also volunteered countless hours to the community.
