Charles R. “Chuck” Ebert, 78, of Key West, FL, formerly of Chicago, was laid to rest on Oct. 7 in Indianola, IL. Mr. Ebert passed away at Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL on July 31 due to complications following back surgery. He served in the Army Air Corps., in Europe, during World War II. He was a retired employee of Combustion Engineers. He is survived by a brother, Robert (Mimi) DeBreau of Phoenix, AZ; two nephews, Thomas DeBreau of Phoenix and Kenneth (Pat) DeBreau; and two great-nephews, John and Michael, all of Gurnee, IL.
