Sales are under way for The Reserves at Valley Lakes, a neighborhood of 52 single-family homes within the 865-acre master-planned community of Valley Lakes in north suburban Round Lake.

The Reserves, developed by Remington Homes, offers seven ranch and two-story floor plans ranging from 2,100 to 2,850 square feet. They have three or four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a basement and attached two-car garage with a three-car option on some sites. Base-prices range from $173,400 to $224,900.

Lots are at least 10,000 square feet and first occupancies are expected in early 2001.

Sales are being conducted at Brooks Farm, a nearby Remington development. It is located on Wilson Road, between Illinois Highways 120 and 134. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 :30 p.m. daily. For information, call 847-546-6300.

– Brittany Homes has opened sales at The Enclave, a development of court homes in southwest suburban Bolingbrook.

The maintenance-free development offers 13 floor plans due to what the developer calls “mix-and-match” plans. Base prices range from $138,900 to $142,900 and square footage, from 1,566 to 1,613. They have two or three bedrooms and one to three baths.

Homes have wall-to-wall carpeting, attached two-car garages, family rooms and decks. Some plans have English basements.

To visit, take Interstate Highway 355 to Boughton Road west to Illinois Highway 53, south to Briarcliff Road, and east to the site. Or, take I-55 to Illinois 53. Go north to Briarcliff and east to the site.

– Winthrop Properties LLC has opened sales for One One One Morgan, a 166-unit, nine-story loft condominium building of 166 units at Morgan and Adams Streets in Chicago’s West Loop.

Floor plans range from 780 to 2,300 square feet, and are base-priced from $165,900 to $425,000. One two-story, three-bedroom penthouse is priced at $699,000.

The 41 floor plans have one to three bedrooms. Some of them have include one- to three-bedroom condos, some with two master suites with private baths and walk-in closets. Other plans offer combined bath/powder rooms and dens.

Standard features include 10-foot ceilings, balcony and/or deck, ventless gas fireplaces, individual heating and air conditioning, and oak flooring in the entry, foyer, den, office niche, dining room, kitchen and living room.

Kitchens offer 42-inch upper cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel double-bowl sinks and Whirlpool appliances.

Building amenities include 24-hour doorman service, high-speed elevators and three floors of heated parking for $25,000 per space.

The sales center, which opens Sunday, is at Morgan Street and Jackson Boulevard.

– Three decorated models are open at Creekside, a development by Wiseman-Hughes in southwest suburban Bolingbrook.

Three floor plans range from 2,199 to 3,015 square feet and are base-priced from $193,900 to $214,900. They have three to five bedrooms and 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths.

Amenities include two- or three-car garages, 9-foot first-floor ceilings, central air conditioning, partial basements with crawl space, GE appliances, kitchen pantry and island, sodded front yards and landscaping packages. Some plans include volume ceilings, computer stations and soaking tubs with separate showers.

Creekside is located on Lily Cache Road across from the Bolingbrook Water Park. To visit, take Interstate Highway 88 to Interstate Highway 355 south. Exit at Boughton Road west to Naperville Road, south to Lily Cache Road and west to Creekside.

– Four display models are available for hard-hat tours at Danada Woods town homes in Naperville. The four floor plans include two traditional two-story plans and two raised ranches ranging from 1,650 to 2,100 square feet. They have two or three bedrooms and 2 1/2 or 3 baths. Exteriors are brick and cedar siding with layered rooflines.

Standard amenities include central air conditioning, fireplace, full basements, two-car garages, master baths and volume ceilings.

Pre-construction base-prices range from $238,900 to $305,900.

Danada Woods, planned for 59 homes, is on Naperville Road, less than a half-mile north of I-88.

– Gallagher & Henry has opened four furnished models at Suffield Woods, a semi-custom, single-family-home development in southwest suburban Palos Park.

Base-priced from $295,450 to $418,400, the 14 floor plans range from 2,470 to 3,740 square feet and include lots ranging from a quarter-acre to a half-acre. Amenities include brick exteriors, oak trim and doors, volume ceilings. Some plans include and masonry fireplaces and three-car garages. One of the models is of the 3,200-square-foot Dartmore. Base-priced at $383,900, the two-story plan has volume ceilings, a basement and den. It also has four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a family room with masonry fireplace and two-story ceiling, formal dining room and a two-story formal living room with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Suffield Woods is on 131st Street, 1 mile west of LaGrange Road. Sales hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday. For information, call 708-448-3358.

– Hometown Builders has opened a decorated model at Blackberry Trail, a development of 135 single-family homes in Aurora. The 2,131-square-foot Catalina ranch model is base-priced at $212,900. It has three bedrooms, two baths and a kitchen with breakfast area that opens onto a sun room with vaulted ceiling. The combined living-dining room also has a vaulted ceiling and the master suite includes a walk-in closet and private bath. The home has a side-loading three-car garage and full basement.

The 11 floor plans at Blackberry Trail include three or four bedrooms, 2 or 2 1/2 baths, vinyl siding, sodded front yards and two- or three-car garages. Some plans have brick fronts and two-story plans have family rooms.

Designs range from 1,361 to 2,831 square feet and are base-priced from $176,990 to $223,900.

For a limited time, buyers will receive a free woodburning fireplace and built-in microwave.
