Concoct your own creepy, crusty skin

Talk about a-peeling! This recipe for fake skin is a breeze.

1 packet unflavored gelatin

1/4 c. water

food coloring (red, yellow or green)

Pour a packet of gelatin and water into a glass bowl and stir. Let sit 2 minutes. Microwave for 40 seconds. While the gelatin still is liquid but is cool enough to apply to skin, stir in food coloring and spoon it on. (We tested the temp by dabbing a drop on the inside of our wrists.) It thickens as it’s applied.
