Chester I. Golembiecki, age 81, of River Forest, formerly of Wheaton. Beloved husband of Dorothy E., nee Scott; loving father of Connie (Harold) Bernt, Bonnie Boerger, Eileen (Ronald) Will, Scott (Wanda), Judy (Richard) Barnard, Tom and John; devoted grandfather of Rebekah and David Bernt, Michael Boerger, Jonathan Golembiecki and Christopher Will; dear brother of Elizabeth (the late Richard) Showers; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by seven sisters. Visitation Tuesday 3 to 9 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park.
