Orlin D. Trapp Sr., passed to eternal life on Oct. 20, 2000 from his home in Newport Beach, CA. Born August 16, 1906 in Milbank, SD. Graduated BS, Western Union College, LeMars, IA, 1928, MA, Education, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, 1940. Career as public school teacher, principal and administrator for 69 years, primarily at Waukegan Township High School, Waukegan, IL. Survived by Mary, wife of 70 years; children LaDonna Kienitz, Newport Beach, and Orlin Trapp Jr., Portola Valley, CA; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers Ivon and Arvel Trapp and sisters Carol Blackburn and Marcella Montgomery.
