Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Growing up in Chicago, I have always been infatuated with football and the Chicago Bears. The Bears were fun to watch and truly were the “Monsters of the Midway.” Now, however, there is legitimite reason to be concerned.

No money is being put into the organization, and the Bears have reached the point where they can no longer be a competitive team. The management realizes that the stadium will be full regardless of the team’s success, so quality free agents are not sought after nor are high-priced players added.

Every losing team has big-name players and is making an effort to improve except the Bears. We are truly in a state of crisis right now, and with this management, Chicago will never have a winning team unless our subpar players somehow gel and go 9-7.

It is sad and unfortunate that our team has reached this condition, but we have no say and are held captive to the McCaskey regime.

The only solution to this crisis is to stop filling the stadium. The Bears owe this city a chance to have a winning team.
