Edward W. Marcks, 89, of Harvard died Thursday, Oct. 26, in Harvard Care Center in Harvard. Mr. Marcks had worked at Starline Inc. in Harvard for more than 20 years and was a piano technician for his own piano-tuning business. He had played piano in an orchestra for many years. He was a former elder in First Presbyterian Church of Harvard. Survivors include his wife, Violet; a daughter, Charlene Rydell; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 11 in First Presbyterian Church, 7100 Harvard Hills Rd., Harvard.
