To the ever-swinging voters who will, apparently, decide this election, the choice should by now be clear. You get either the dorky but smart Al Gore or the charming but dumb George W. Bush.

This may be a difficult choice for some, but voters need to remember this: Although we’re forced to pay almost constant attention to these guys right now, when whoever wins is in office, we will ignore that person about 99 percent of the time. For that reason, I think it’s best to go with the smart guy, because you can pretty much tune out the dorkiness.

If you elect the dumb guy, you may have to pay much more attention than you wish.
