Rev. Edward P. Connors, beloved son of the late Margaret, nee Foley, and William Connors; devoted brother of Mary and the late James Connors. Fr. Connors is survived and will be dearly missed by his many friends and the parishioners of St. Benedict Parish. Lying in state Sunday 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wake Service Sunday 8 p.m. at St. Benedict Church, 2339 West York St., Blue Island, IL, where there will be a Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Ordained April 18, 1936. Pastor Emeritus-in-residence of St. Benedict Church and St. Peter Claver Mission 1982-present, Pastor of St. Benedict Church and St. Peter Claver Mission 1966-1982, Associate Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Church 1936-1966.
