Lorraine M. DeJacimo, 80, of Naperville died Thursday, Oct. 26, in her home. Born in Chicago, Mrs. DeJacimo was a homemaker who raised her family in Chicago before retiring to Wheaton. After her children were grown, she worked for a sporting-goods manufacturer in Chicago in the 1970s. Four years ago, she moved to Naperville to be closer to her daughters. “She was just one of those people who would take care of everybody,” said her daughter-in-law, Diana, who added that Mrs. DeJacimo had cared for her children. Other survivors include her husband of 54 years, Anthony; two sons, James and Andrew; three daughters, Donna Essex, Valerie Lawrence and Laura; two brothers, Lee and Larry Giroux; a sister, Lavern Mueller; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 Mill St., Naperville. A mass will be said at noon Monday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville.
