It was astonishing to learn Sen. John McCain believes the USS Cole bombing wouldn’t happen under a Bush administration. Would it then be fair to say that the loss of 241 Marines in the Lebanon bombing during the Reagan administration wouldn’t have happened under a Democratic administration?
