James Preston Eby. Services for James Preston Eby, 71, of Logansport, IN, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Fisher Funeral Chapel. He died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000 at his residence. Born Sept. 18, 1929 in Chicago, he was the son of James Preston Sr. and Olga Grace Berg Eby. He was married on May 5, 1956, in Chicago, to Natalie J. Toshich, who died Jan. 17, 2000. Surviving are two daughters, Katheryn (George H.) Fox of Flagstaff, AZ and Susan E. Fries (Charles L.) Baldwin of Celina, OH; one son, Robert Fries III of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Mary Kay Henbee of Chicago; two nephews, Edward Kuszynski and John Kuszynski, both of Chicago; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
