Clare Blumenthal Levin, age 98, died October 18, 2000, wife of the late David S. Levin; stepmother of Sidney (Natalie Saltiel) Levin and the late Ada (the late Irving) Projansky, Sylvia Levin, Nora (the late Samuel) Goldsmith and Irving (the Belle) Levin; grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of 16; and great-great-grandmother of 15; aunt of John Gilman and John Blumenthal. A private family memorial service is being planned.
