Frank McGhee, 76, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000. He had been a Florida resident for 20 years before moving from Palos Heights, IL. Frank was an All American Athlete and served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps. in the South Pacific campaign during WWII. He is predeceased by his son, James and is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Pat; daughters, Randy McGhee (Randy Gordon) of Chicago and Patty (Lee) Daniels of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sons, Doc (Wendy) McGhee of Coto DeCaza, CA, Mike (Jody) McGhee of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Scott (Sherid) McGhee of New York, NY; daughter-in-law, Dwana McGhee of Columbia, MO; six grandchildren, Willie, Miles, Shayla, Megan, Scotty and Dylan. Funeral Services were held in Florida on Monday, Oct. 30, 2000. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to A Cancer Research Foundation of one’s choice.
