John Plaszewski, age 86, passed away Oct. 28, 2000, beloved husband for 50 years of Stella; loving father of Irene (Michael) Bashir; devoted grandfather of Janine (John) Girzadas and Jennifer and Jonathan Bashir. He was a retired employee of the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad. Served as Financial Secretary for 26 years of Lodge #1532 of the Polish National Alliance. Veteran of Polish World War II and POW. Funeral Thursday 9:30 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E.
