Waldeck, son of the late Anton and Theresa Waldeck; brother of the late Charles and Oscar Waldeck; father of Veronica Belavich of Plainfield and the late Harold Fred “Buddy” Waldeck Jr.; grandfather of six; great-grandfather of 10. Born Nov. 11, 1914 in Glassport, PA, he was raised in Chicago. Retired from Mrs. Grasses’ Noodle Soup after 42 years, where he worked his way to Traffic Manager. Funeral Thursday, Nov. 2 at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, 10:15 a.m. to St. Dennis Church, Lockport. Mass 11 a.m. Interment Oak Woods Cemetery. Visitation after 9 a.m. Thursday. Please omit flowers.
