In “3rd party votes” (Voice of the people, Oct. 28), Chris and Karen Mead claim a vote for Ralph Nader may lead to the consequence of electing George W. Bush. I look forward to the “consequences” of lower and fairer taxation, sound foreign policy, trustworthy leadership, reformed education and Social Security programs, a cleaned-up culture, fewer abortions and the “nanny state” out of our lives.
I encourage Mr. and Mrs. Mead to vote for Nader. I, for one, am not willing to accept the consequences of a Gore presidency.
