As supporters of Lauren Beth Gash in the 10th Congressional District race, we were, of course disappointed in your endorsement of her opponent. We do take issue with your implication that the 10th District has been overwhelmingly Republican for two decades. The 10th may have been Republican at one time, but, in 1996 both President Clinton and Sen. Richard Durbin carried this district rather handily.
