Postal service: Mail will be delivered Friday but not Saturday.
Courts: Federal, county and state courts will be closed Friday, except for Central Bond Court, which will be in session at 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Criminal Courts Building.
Banks: Most banks will be open Friday, but some branches of some banks will be closed Saturday.
Financial markets: The Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade will be open.
Parking: Meters must be fed.
