I was an election judge on Nov. 7. Every voter who came into our precinct was offered a demonstration with an orange sample ballot before taking the real one. About half of them accepted. People who asked for help after they were in the booths got help. When someone began voting and said, “I made a mistake,” the spoiled ballot was marked “spoiled” in the voter’s view, placed in the designated envelope, and the voter received a clean ballot to start again.

I’m sure that some voters made mistakes without realizing it, while others recognized their errors but didn’t admit them. I don’t believe anybody is entitled to sue.
