While the Hannukah tunes are cranking downstairs at the Cultural Center, more holiday music will be tinkling upstairs in the center’s fourth-foor Sidney Yates Gallery, where the AIDS Foundation of Chicago will present its “All the Trimmings” benefit at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Attendees can buy limited-edition porcelain ornaments or bid for special items created by national artists for the event. Ticket price ($10 for kids and $45 for adults) includes open bar, buffet dinner, dessert and music. 312-922-2322, ext. 375.
