Expect licking — lots of licking — when more than 200 prize cats, from birmans to Persians, Siamese to Maine coons, gather for the Chicago Shorthair Cat Club’s one–day show. Judges will rate the top 10 cats in seven different “rings.” The fur fest begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lake County Fairgrounds, Illinois 45 and U.S. Highway 120, Grayslake. Tickets are $5, $4 for seniors, $3 for kids or $10 for families. 815–476–2767.
