Chicago has been inundated with snow so far this season. What happened to the Old World values of helping your neighbor? For example, people are complaining about the city snowplows not properly plowing their side streets. Maybe these same complainers could get together with their neighbors and help each other shovel out their vehicles. Worse yet–have people become so lazy that they cannot even shovel out the garbage carts? The garbage haulers have a tough enough time in this weather without having the added chore of freeing stuck garbage carts.

Chicago is known for its ever-changing weather. Let’s work together to help out each other.
