Dr. Edward P. Marbach, born Nov. 13, 1926 in Chicago, passed away Dec. 30, 2000 in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Marbach was a retired Clinical Biochemist of 44 years and was a resident of Los Angeles for over 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace Lea Chang and her children and their spouses, Daniel and Mary Yen, John and Annie Yen; by his children and their spouses, Randy and Karen Marbach, Barbara Marbach, Susan and Larry Poirier, Nancy and Mike Wilson and Edward and Annie Marbach; 17 grandchildren, Laurel Hitchin, Lisa O’Neil, Ralph Hitchin, Christopher Marbach, Gina Poirier, Nicholas Marbach, Sara Poirier, Matthew Poirier, Richard Hitchin, Kristen Poirier, Ryan Hitchin, Jeffrey Marbach, Ryan Marbach, Kaitlyn Wilson, Matthew Marbach, Hope Wilson and Michael Yen. Dr. Marbach had seven brothers and sisters, the late Philip Marbach, Walter Marbach of Chicago, the late Jacob Marbach, the late John Marbach, Mary Simpson of Chicago, the late Regina Mucha and Ralph Marbach of Chicago. Vigil Service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, 7 p.m. at Cabot & Sons, Pasadena, CA. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, 10 a.m. at St. Dominic’s in Eagle Rock, CA, with burial immediately following at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA.
