Alfred E. Shavell, dearly beloved husband of the late Rae Shavell, nee Rogoff, and father of Stanley and Audrey Shavell, Herbert and the late Yvonne Patt, nee Shavell, passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 98 surrounded by his family. Our special grandfather was blessed with a long and wonderful life. He inspired us with his love of family, zest for life, and youthful optimism. He traversed continents and eras and experienced life with grace and charm. Remembered forever with love by his children, grandchildrenSteven and Janine Shavell, Aldon Patt, Bradley and Shirley Patt, and Colette Patt, and greatgrandchildren-Lara, Eli and Talia Patt and Rae Lorvick-Patt. Deeply mourned and never to be forgotten. Funeral at Eden Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 3 at 2 p.m.
