James O’Hearn, age 87, passed away December 31, 2000, preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mary, nee Logan and William and his siblings Mary O’Hearn, Nicholas, William, Alice Bourke, Julia O’Hearn, Jon, Edward and Thomas; cherished uncle of Edeard O’Hearn, Robert Dempsey and many other nieces and nephews; devoted brother-in-law of Mary O’Hearn; dear friend of Fr. Paul T. Thomas Hoban. Friends and family meet at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Rt. 176 and Oak St. in Crystal Lake on Saturday for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. at SmithCorcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. He was employed by Illinois Bell Telephone for 36 years and a member of IBEW Local 134 for 50 years and the American Legion Post 171, Crystal Lake, IL.
