Clement A. Roeske, age 84, of DeKalb, IL, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001 at Rosewood Nursing Center, Elgin, IL. Born July 10, 1916 in Chicago to John and Hilda, nee Hugenschmidt, Roeske. He had been a plumber before his retirement, a member of the Chicago Veterans of Foreign Wars, Amvets in Chicago and the Plumbers Union Local # 130-Chicago. He is survived by a stepson, Scott Bock of Schaumburg; four sisters Irene (Harry) Cook of Prospect Heights, IL, Eleanor (Bud) Dallas of Round Lake, IL, Elizabeth (Robert) Egan of Morton Grove, and Theresa (Joseph) Winandy of Lindenhurst, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 stepsons, Guy and Bruce Bock; eight brothers, John, Edward, Arthur, Frederich, (William) Father James, SDS, Charles, Joseph and George; five sisters, Mae Streicher, Loretta Schmoller, Hilda Olson, Helen Becker and Evelyn Roeske. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. John Nepucene Cemetery in Fox River Grove, IL.
