Bernard Seifert, 90, formerly of Chicago, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001 in Lakeland Nursing Home, Elkhorn, WI, born in Chicago Aug. 15, 1910 to David and Frieda Rosen Seifert. He married Evelyn Bralower, March 25, 1952 in Chicago. Born and raised in Chicago, he was a self-employed tax accountant for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Evelyn; two children, Marla (William) Rochedieu, Harvard, IL and Brian Seifert, Cincinnati, OH; granddaughter Larkin Eve Seifert, Cincinnati; brother Sidney Seifert, Chicago; sister, Rose Frankel, Van Nuys, CA; and special friend Rachel Mabie; preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lilian Garwin. There will be no services. Visitation Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Schoenfeld Funeral Home, 504 Milwaukee Rd. Clinton, WI.
