Every year, without fail, thousands upon thousands of Chicagoans loudly complain about the snow and the cold. I say, “Stop complaining and deal with it!” If they dislike it here so much they should just move. If not, remember a few words that might make dealing with the snow a little bit easier: wild fires, hurricanes, mud slides, flooding, tornadoes, earthquakes.
The above natural disasters, which cause far more damage than snow and cold weather, are things I can gladly live without. Personally I like winter (and I’m not a serious skier), and I look forward to it every year. Except for dirty slush, sidewalks not shoveled and reserved parking spaces, winter is a very beautiful time of the year. People should embrace it, or at least accept it without complaint, and count their blessings.
