Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Birth date: Jan. 10, 1965.

Birthplace: I was born in Highland Park and grew up in Deerfield.

Occupation: Television writer and producer.

Current home: Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Marital status: Married to Adam Wolman, an executive at MTV, for 4 1/2 years.

Children: Twin sons, Justin and Ben, almost 2 years old.

Working on: My partner, DeAnn Heline, and I created “Three Sisters,” which follows “Frasier” Tuesdays on NBC. The characters are based on us and a friend from college with touches of my real sister and stories from our moms, who are both one of three sisters.

The last good movie I saw: “American Beauty” on cable.

I stay home to watch: “The Sopranos” and “The West Wing.”

Favorite meal: A Hackney burger and french fries. I have very lowbrow tastes.

Favorite performer: Carol Burnett. She has an amazing ability to make you laugh and cry and feel like you know her.

Personal hero: I adored Gilda Radner when I was growing up. I’d repeat everything she did on “Saturday Night Live.”

I’d give anything to meet: Jimmy Stewart. I’ve adored him in every movie. He seemed honest and honorable and funny.

I’m better than anyone else when it comes to: Getting dressed quickly.

The one thing I can’t stand: Being late.

If I could change one thing about myself: I’d be taller. I’m five foot and a half-inch. It’s not an asset when I have to boss people around.

If I could do it over: I’d worry less, let myself go more, and have more fun.

My fantasy is: I’m doing whatever I want, somewhere by water, with no one needing anything from me and I’m eating wonderful, fattening food and not gaining weight.

Most irrational act: Joining a sorority in college. I’m not the kind of person who should belong to a sorority. I’m a very independent thinker.

The three words that best describe me: Sarcastic, driven and straight-shooter.
