Including Boondocks in the comics section of your paper is completely inappropriate. Are we not trying to teach our children to respect each other and others’ beliefs? The comics (or the newspaper in general) is not the proper forum for such distasteful, offensive, racially discriminatory material.
I never felt the need to censor the comics from my children, but I do not know how to explain this comic strip to them. Please consider removing it from your paper.
