It is divine irony that Linda Chavez made her exit attacking the “politics of personal destruction” and the Washington game of “seek and destroy.”
Those who have read her vitriolic column know her as the master of blindly partisan, viciously personal attack; for her to portray herself as a victim in a blood game she has championed for years is breathtaking hypocrisy.
Fair-minded people will not mourn her demise.
Her column has been a blot on the Tribune’s editorial pages.
