Cecilio De Jesus Jr., of Decatur, MI, died Jan. 13, 2001 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. De Jesus was born Aug. 8, 1959 in Chicago, the son of Cecilio and Helen, nee Wagganer, De Jesus. He was an auto repair specialist and had been employed at Paul Ries & Sons in Chicago and most recently at John H. Tapper in Paw Paw. Cecilio enjoyed hunting and fishing. On Aug. 26, 1984 he was united in marriage to Susan, nee Dertz, De Jesus who survives. Also surviving are his son, Francis John De Jesus; three sisters, Marcelina De Jesus of Decatur, Ethel (Raymond) Howard of Chicago and Catherine De Jesus of Decatur; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Church of God in Decatur, Pastor Alric Evan officiating. Cremation will follow services. The family will be present to receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Betzler & Thompson Funeral Home, 60900 M-40, Paw Paw, MI. Memorials may be made to the family.
