Erwin O. “Erv”‘ Heyden, 70, the owner of E.O. Heyden and Associates, a Bensenville accounting firm, died Saturday, Jan. 13, in his Bensenville home. He was born in Elmhurst and attended Northern Illinois University. Mr. Heyden served in the Army during the Korean War, attaining the rank of sergeant. He started his company in the early 1970s, said his wife, Elizabeth. “He was the No. 1 Cubs fan,” his wife said. “He loved to take the kids to the Cubs games.” Other survivors include a son, Scott; two daughters, Linda Sant Amour and Karen; and a brother, William. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst.
