Both come from rich families whose father had a bit of power.
Both faced incumbent vice presidents who ran with a strong economy and popular president to back them.
Both are considered “wild party boys.”
Both were looked at as political lightweights.
Both did much better in TV debates than they were supposed to.
Both are considered to be young by presidential standards.
Both barely won the presidency.
Both have faced men with little to no charisma and personality.
Both are identified by their initials.
