Kornblum, of Goshen, IN, WW II Vet of the U.S. Navy, serving on the Aircraft Carrier USS Tripoli, died Jan. 15, 2001, born Dec. 31, 1918 in Chicago, son of the late Samuel and Matilda, nee Noftz, Kornblum; married the late Margaret Wetherald July 15, 1950 (died 1973), married Helen Sheely Guilliam June 28, 1975, who survives; father of Mark R. (Helen) Kornblum of St. Louis, MO, Douglas Guilliam of Goshen, the late John E. (Karen) Kornblum, of San Dimas, CA; grandfather of five; great-grandfather of one; brother of Elaine Johnson of Palatine, IL. Graduated from Purdue University. Retired (1984) Mechanical EngineerCost Estimator for Sargent & Lundy Engineers in Chicago. Member of the Retirees Club of Sargent & Lundy.
