Grace E. Zehner, nee Seborg, 95, went home to be with the Lord on January 11, peacefully at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Evergreen, Colorado and with whom she had previously resided in Palos Park, Illinois. She joined her loving husband, George; father, Walter; mother, Sigrid; “Mom”, Florence; brother Lawrence (Helen); and her young siblings, Vernon, Mildred and Ruth; and also her late brother-in-law, Paul; and sister-in-law, Ruth (Tom); she is survived by a brother, John (Valerie); daughter, Patricia (Tom) Tafel; sons, George (Astrid) and Paul (Diane); and her grandchildren, Jillann, Cynthia and Michael, Steven, David and Erik, Darrell, Laura and Lisa; and great-grandmother of Joshua, Jenna, Brittany and Nicky. Grace “Togie” had a wonderful life. She loved everyone, had a positive outlook and trusted in the Lord. Now she is singing with the Angels. Heaven is brighter because of her smile. A private service and burial was held on January 13, at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home and Cemetery. 708-636-1200.
