Chapa, age 67, of Lake Zurich, passed away due to complications from diabetes, beloved husband of Carolyn S., nee O’Dell, whom he married on Sept. 21, 1956; father of Deborah (Kerry) McCoy, Joseph (Debra, nee Randall) Chapa, Roxanne (Ken) Gustin and David (Jill) Chapa; grandfather of 12; brother of Hortensia (Paul) DeArkos, Mirthala (Jesus) Perales, Evita (Ricardo) Perez and Sylvia (Paul) Garza. Born in Monterrey, Mexico on April 30, 1933, died in Bloomingdale, IL on Jan. 15, 2001. Visitation Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich.
