Gerald Iehl, 79, a retired machinist and a resident of Westmont for the past 52 years, died in his home on Saturday, Jan. 13. He was born in Glendive, Mont. Mr. Iehl served in the Army during World War II He worked for 32 years at Sunbeam Corp., where he was a machinist and polisher. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margaret; two sons, Donald and Gregory; a sister, Margaret; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Toon Funeral Home, 109 N. Cass Ave., Westmont. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Bethel Lutheran Church, Grant and Irving Streets, Westmont.
