Blanche Elizabeth Moy Lim, passed away on January 11, 2001, she was 87, beloved mother of Joanne (Mike) Miumi, Laura (Ronald) Lee and Lily Selig; dear grandmother of Karen, Michael and David Miumi and Timothy and Kristina Lee; caring sister to Harriet Moy Wong; and many nieces, nephews and their families. She was selfless with her time and energies caring for her own and extended families. She was pre-deceased by her husband Buck Hoy Lim in 1980. She was a native of Chinatown Chicago, IL, living there for 56 years. She was a hard-working helpmate to her husband managing Buck Hoy Photo Studio and Art Shop on Cermak Rd. in Chinatown. They retired to Oakland in 1969 where she enjoyed sewing, gardening, her home and her grandchildren for the next 31 years. The wake will be January 17, 2001 at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be on January 18, 2001 at 1 p.m. Both services will be at the mortuary chapel at Albert Brown Mortuary, 3476 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA, 510-652-1873. Interment will follow atMountain View Cemetery.
