Marvin E. Burdine, 69, a 42-year resident of Wheaton, died Sunday, Jan. 14, in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Mr. Burdine was born in Magnolia, Ark. He worked in the spring division of the former Borg-Warner Corp. (now BorgWarner Inc.) of Chicago for 30 years. He retired in 1991. He was a fisherman and an avid sportsman. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Gayle Sullivan and Lynn Malak; a son, David; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday with services at 7:30 p.m. in Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton.
